College Station, TX - Clemson starting running back Yusef Kelly has been suspended for the Texas A&M game for a violation of team rules according to the Clemson Sports Network.

Kelly had 28 carries for 90 yards and one touchdown for the Tigers in the first two games. The native of Walterboro, SC had 19 carries in the opening win over Wake Forest but saw a reduced role in the second game as running backs Kyle Browning and Reggie Merriweather emerged with long touchdown runs.

Duane Coleman who started most of the games last season at running back might also see some action against Texas A&M after breaking his foot in the preseason.

Kelly was Clemson’s leading rusher in 2002.
