Three-star linebacker Keith Maguire (Malvern, Pa.) released his top-5 schools while on a visit to Clemson Saturday.
Maguire has the Tigers in a group with Ohio State, Alabama, North Carolina and Notre Dame. "Thank you to all the coaches that offered me and that gave me an opportunity to play for them," Maguire posted on Twitter Saturday. "I will be committing to one of these 5 schools." Since his recruitment has picked up in 2018, Maguire has visited Clemson (twice), Ohio State, Alabama, Notre Dame and Northwestern. "I think the school was beautiful and the facilities were top notch,” Maguire said after his March Clemson visit. “It's somewhere I'm going to be looking more into. Coach Swinney was talking about how he was glad to have me down for the weekend and just a normal conversation. The football conversation was more with Coach (Brent) Venables… “I definitely think I could be a good fit there. I like the coaches and their philosophy and the players there. It definitely could be a spot where I could fit in and play to the best of my ability." Maguire was an All-Inter-Ac selection playing linebacker and wide receiver last season for a championship Malvern Prep squad. He totaled 150 tackles and three interceptions and caught 19 passes for 278 yards and five touchdowns. Top 5... Thank you to all the coaches that offered me and that gave me an opportunity to play for them. I will be committing to one of these 5 schools. pic.twitter.com/iX6XUxxnSC
