Cortez Davis won't play for B-CU: Former Mainland defensive back Cortez Davis won't be playing for Bethune-Cookman this season, a B-CU spokesman said.

Davis, who told the News-Journal in March that he was transferring to B-CU from Clemson, is not on B-CU's roster and is not enrolled at the school, said Bryan Harvey, B-CU's assistant athletic director for communications.

“I know he will not be enrolling here this semester,'' Harvey said.
