Clemson DL target commits to division rival |
Four-star 2019 Fort Myers, Florida defensive end and Clemson target Derick Hunter committed to Florida State while on a visit Wednesday.
Hunter had visited Clemson over the weekend and sent out a picture from the visit as recently as Tuesday. He had previously announced that he would narrow down his top schools to five in September and then commit in December. Other schools among his contenders were Texas A&M, Florida, Penn State, Tennessee, Miami and Georgia. Florida State is up to No. 12 in the 247Sports Team Composite Rankings for 2019 with an 11-member class under new coach Willie Taggart. Clemson is ranked fifth with a 15-player class currently. #we2deep19 ???????? @CoachToddBates sounds scary pic.twitter.com/zriSyx10eZ
