Clemson defensive lineman arrested Caden Story |
Clemson redshirt sophomore Caden Story was arrested Sunday with possession of marijuana.
The Pickens County Court public records show that he was arrested for possession of 28 grams (1 oz) or less of marijuana. It was Story's first offense, and he had to pay $615 in fines. Head coach Dabo Swinney is expected to address the incident on Thursday during ACC Media Days. Per Clemson's athletic handbook, any player arrested and charged with a drug-related crime must undergo drug testing. Notably, the NCAA recently removed marijuana from its banned drugs list for Division I college football championships and the postseason. Story, who enters the 2024 season, has recorded two tackles in 63 total snaps at Clemson.
