Former Clemson baseball 2016 commit Sawyer Bridges Previously, Bridges was committed to Clemson back in July 2013 but reopened his commitment and visited South Carolina during this year's South Carolina-Tennessee football game. Many recruiting analysts have him ranked as the #2 player in the state of South Carolina for the 2016 cycle. In 2013, Bridges tossed a one-hitter and also had a fastball that was clocked at 88 MPH. On the season, he went 5-1 with a 1.13 ERA and struck out 34 in 31 innings. An interesting note - Bridges is also the starting quarterback for Summerville this year.
