11-year old Aaron Ritz from Inman, SC is battling polycystic kidney disease which causes kidneys to enlarge and lose their function over time. He is currently waiting on a kidney transplant.

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney sent him some words of encouragement for the youngster as he deals with his illness.

"Hey, Aaron this is Coach Swinney up here at Clemson, he said. "Listen I just want to encourage you to hang in there bud. Stay strong. I know it's a tough time for you but I know God has a great plan for you. Believe in that and in due time, you will get this new kidney. God bless you."

Aaron had the following response after hearing the inspirational words from Swinney.

"I got a pretty cool video from Coach Dabo. Thank goodness it wasn't the Carolina Gamecock (coach)."
