Good dinner places in Clemson

The wife will be with me in Clemson in a few week. We will be there several days. Are there any places you'd recommend for a nice meal. I know Pixie and Bills from the old days. Are there others you like. It doesn't have to be fancy. Just looking for good. Thanks Tnet foodies

Walk Ons. I recommend the Cajundillas and the Catfish Atchafalaya. I'll be spending a few days there next week and plan to hit up walk ons and find some new places as well.

Don't know of any good places lately. Maybe Rick Erwins.
I DO know The Lighthouse on the lake near the nuclear plant has fallen off (my opinion). It appears someone may have bought it and spent some money on remodeling and other changes. But the menu is reduced, the servings are smaller, and the place just gives off a bad vibe.
On my last trip there I got frustrated and ordered a salad. The waitress asked if I wanted to add chicken. I did. Grilled. We counted four very small pieces of chicken. In fact, we joked that they trimmed it from someone else's order at the table that got Honey Chicken. $8 add-on.

Charleston Seafood Company downtown is good
Calhoun Corners
Walkons which someone already mentioned
And actually the Esso club has decent meat and 3 vegetables
desert 55 exchange ice cream in Hendrix Student Center

Blue Heron in downtown Pendleton hasn’t been mentioned yet.
Evolve downtown is really good scratch made food even if it’s not super fancy.
Also not dinner, but the Delish Sisters which is inside of the Sheppard is a nice place for breakfast/lunch/brunch.

We have always enjoyed dining at Calhoun Corners. Escellent food and seservice. We have never been disappointed there.

The most popular place in Clemson is Chick-fil-A, by far. Not really much in Clemson as far as decent food at a good price. You can pay an arm and a leg (Rick Erwins) and get some decent food.

Second the Smokin Pig for BBQ. Pixie and Bill’s is still great, Rick Erwin’s if you want to pay $$$. Esso for good meat and three, but sometimes they don’t serve meat and threes on the weekends. Charleston Sports Pub has gone to crap. Not that good and they’ve increased their prices. Delish Sisters is good for breakfast/lunch/brunch. Very friendly too! Walk-Ons also has good food(Cajun/bar food) and drinks.

Circle M Barbecue outside Liberty on way to Anderson. Mile past roundabout on your roght. Friday and Saturday nights 5-9 and lunch 12-2.
Best barbecue in SC smoked chicken is great and people say good too. Never tried. Country sides - coleslaw old school.

We have always enjoyed Paesano's and its not really that far from Clemson.
