Recruiting: East Point DB Impressed with Clemson |
Tristian Davis Defensive back / running back Tri-City High School (East Point, Ga.) 5'11", 190 lbs. With his perfomance on both sides of the ball, Tristian Davis led the Tri-City High Bulldogs to a 7-4-1 record and a spot in the state playoffs. He had five interceptions, 89 tackles, and four forced fumbles on defense, and 843 yards and six touchdowns on offense. Davis is currently being recruited by Clemson, Auburn, Virginia, Mississippi State, and Florida, and has received offers from all but Florida. Because he has only taken one official visit, that being to Virginia, Davis isn't leaning toward any school. He does, however, hold Clemson in high regard. "I like Clemson," Davis said. "I have always thought they were a pretty good team, and I was real impressed with their win over Florida State. I really like Coach Bowden, and hope they do well in the Peach Bowl." Davis will visit North Carolina on January 9th, Mississippi State on January 16th, Auburn on January 23rd, and Clemson on January 30th. He has been visited at his home by coaches from each school, and is being recruited by Clemson coach Burton Burns.
