CBS Sports released its preseason All-American list on Tuesday and two Tigers earned the top honors and five were on the teams in all.

Rising sophomore Trevor Lawrence was tabbed the Player of the Year and Dabo Swinney picked up the Coach of the Year designation.

Lawrence is one of two Clemson first-team selections on the offensive side, joined by running back Travis Etienne - offensive guard John Simpson landing on the second team.

On defense, former five-star prospect Xavier Thomas is projected to follow in the footsteps left by Clelin Ferrell and Austin Bryant as a second-team All-American. Linebacker Isaiah Simmons is also a second-team selection.
