Catcher who was used as a spot starter and pinch-hitter as a freshman in 2018, then sat out in 2019 due to injury.
2019: Suffered a leg injury in the fall and received a medical redshirt … played for Forest City in the Coastal Plain League in the summer, where he hit .191 with two doubles, five homers, 12 RBIs, 12 runs and a .406 on-base percentage in 23 games.
2018: Hit .263 with two RBIs, a .400 on-base percentage, four walks and a hit-by-pitch 11 games (five starts as the DH) … was 3-for-8 (.375) with runners on base … went 1-for-3 with an RBI, a walk and hit-by-pitch against Furman on Feb. 20; was his first career start … No. 115 freshman in the ACC in the preseason by Perfect Game … played for Gastonia in the Coastal Plain League in the summer, where he played eight games.
