Potter knocked through a field goal, but he also pinned BHP to its 20 or inside the 20 on nine of 10 possessions. “Sometimes I think he needs to be our defensive MVP,” South Pointe coach Strait Herron told the Rock Hill Herald on Potter. “When you have a guy that can make them start on the 20 every single time, he’s a huge weapon, and boy, we’re gonna miss him. We’re gonna miss him bad.” Kendrick has thrown for 24 touchdowns to five interceptions, completing 70.4 percent of his passes for 2,227 yards and rushing for 860 yards and 12 more scores.
