Clemson led the nation in first and second-team selections for Sports Illustrated's All-American teams on Friday.

A trio of first-team picks are led by sophomore quarterback Trevor Lawrence, with offensive teammate Travis Etienne earning the unanimous-vote distinction on his top-team honor.

After a breakout sophomore campaign, Isaiah Simmons picked up a first-team preseason pick as well, coming off of leading Clemson with 97 stops (9.5 for loss) with seven pass breakups.

Clemson and Alabama tied for the most first-team selections nationally.

Two Tigers made the second-team offense as well in junior target Tee Higgins and offensive lineman John Simpson. Sophomore defensive end Xavier Thomas rounds out the Clemson selections as a second-teamer after totaling 10.5 tackles for loss in just 304 snaps.
