Defensive lineman Dorian Capers (6-6, 275) committed to South Carolina in the spring, but said on Sunday he’ll still be taking official visits to South Carolina, Clemson and likely Georgia. He has been offered by Clemson, USC and Tennessee. Capers, who plays for Thomas Heyward Academy in Ridgeland, SC, took an unofficial visit to the Clemson-Carolina game Saturday night, his third trip to USC this season. However, he saw just two full quarters on Saturday night.

“I left during the third quarter. I couldn’t take it anymore,” he said. “The offensive line wasn’t blocking. The defense played too loose, playing up. They weren’t hyped up like Clemson was.”
Capers calls his commitment “somewhat firm.” When asked what he likes about South Carolina he said, “I don’t know. I just like South Carolina. I don’t even know. I guess it’s just a good school.”
Capers is being recruited for the Tigers by running backs coach Burton Burns.
