After visiting Clemson the weekend of January 9th, Opelika, AL defensive end Jacquez McKissic took last weekend off. McKissic will be back on the road this weekend with a scheduled trip to UAB and then will visit either Auburn or Louisville on January 30th.

Alabama has fallen off his list for now. “They can’t make up their mind what they want to do,” said McKissic. “Their commitment list is kind of full anyway.”

Clemson continues to lead for McKissic, but he is not sure when he will make his final decision. “Right now I feel more comfortable at Clemson than anywhere else. If I do take these last few visits, my decision will be after the visits, but if I don’t then I will go ahead and make a decision before then.”

McKissic and teammate Adrian Kindred, who is a Clemson commitment, also checked out the Tigers while the Tigers were practicing for the Peach Bowl against Tennessee.

“He is a great player,” said Kindred. “We do just about everything together and hopefully he will be at Clemson with me. I’ve been trying to get him to.”

McKissic also has offers from Illinois, Mississippi State,
Southern Miss, Troy State, UAB and Alabama A&M. This
season he recorded 50 tackles and 10 sacks.

Clemson assistant Dabo Swinney is recruiting McKissic for the Tigers.
