View Full Profile continued his phenomenal senior season with an individual title in the shot put, with a throw of 50 feet, 6 inches. This is turning out to be quite a year for Jarrett. In the fall, he was named all-state in football for the second consecutive season, and in February he signed with Clemson University. During the winter, Jarrett won the Class AAAA state heavyweight wrestling championship, and on Wednesday he improved his distance by more than two feet during the region meet."

“Grady’s just a different kid — he works hard,” Etheridge, who’s coached Jarrett for the last three football seasons, said. “He’s got a different button he can push when things need to happen. Nothing would surprise me with him. He went from 48 (feet) during the year, then he threw over 50 feet. He’s got goals.”
