Wilkins on DT move: "I am looking forward to it"

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson defensive lineman Christian Wilkins previewed the 2017 football season on Wednesday afternoon.

Swinney said earlier in the day that Wilkins will move back inside to his natural defensive tackle position. Last year, Wilkins helped out at defensive end because of injuries to the position.

In 2016, Wilkins had 48 tackles including 13.5 for loss, 3.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and nine pass deflections.
