Former Clemson standout K.J. McDaniels received 20 votes for the 2014-2015 NBA All-Rookie team on Monday.

The NBA All-Rookie first team named was Andrew Wiggins, Nikola Mirotic, Nerlens Noel, Elfrid Payton and Jordan Clarkson.

McDaniels finished the regular season averaging 7.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.1 blocks per game. He has played in only 10 out of 29 games with the Rockets (including the postseason) and has only 33 total minutes (1.13 minutes per game) since his trade from Philadelphia in February.

He was a first-team All-ACC selection and the ACC Defensive Player of the Year in 2013-14 while at Clemson. He led the Tigers in points (614), rebounds (255), blocks (100), steals (41) and three-pointers (42) - the only player in the country to lead his team in all five categories.
