WATCH: Tim Tebow says there's 'no doubt' on Travis Etienne's run at Heisman

A former Heisman winner weighed in Friday on two Tigers possibly up for the prestigious award this December.
Former Florida quarterback great Tim Tebow was on ESPN and he said there's no doubt that Etienne is in the mix, coming off of a career-high 205 rushing yards and three scores Thursday. Tebow says Trevor Lawrence could play a factor in his chances for the award, however, expecting the sophomore to bounce back from some struggles in the opener.
"I think he's explosive. I think he's a spectacular running back," Tebow said. "I think he's got a chance to be the most explosive player in the country...What could hurt him is if Trevor Lawrence can get it going like he did at the end of last year -- it could take some votes away because they're giving them to the same team. I think this kid is fantastic and a phenomenal player.
"You look at every part of his game from running to power to speed - elusiveness and even catching out of the backfield. I think he's a three-down back in the NFL and I think he's going to be a stud the entire year."
Tebow is also calling for another Clemson and Alabama showdown to decide the nation's best team this season.
"I know it gets old for some but we're watching greatness right now," Tebow said. "What Dabo Swinney is doing at Clemson and what Nick Saban has done at Alabama. These are two spectacular programs and they aren't going anywhere."
