Clemson got a very tough break on a questionable no-call when punter returner
Amari Rodgers appeared to be interfered with after signaling for a fair catch in the second quarter against Boston College.
No penalty was called and the Eagles got the fumble recovery. It certainly appeared to be an obvious missed call by the refs. Clemson coach Dabo Swinney argued vehemently but the interference call was not a reviewable play. The Twitter world was abuzz shaming the no-call by the ACC refs: No flag @theACC pic.twitter.com/UPc3o7c0Td What in the world are these officials doing in the Clemson game? Holy moly. Woah BC maybe just got away with interference on a fair catch, and recovered at the Clemson 42. Horrible call against #Clemson. Interference on the fair catch was not called Acc Refs pic.twitter.com/ipk4VR5usw Isn’t the punt recover supposed to have a “1 yard halo” around him in order to catch a fair catch? Nation: The ACC introduces you to #goacc officiating Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwww complete bull?? How do you not throw that flag. Bad referee! Let’s get the ball back Defense!!!!! Ruling stands, BC keeps the ball, unbelievable. Safe to say that’s just atrocious officiating. Really no excuse for that. We can't see a replay...so I have no idea what really happened ACC officials blow a FC interference call and Brent Venables is like @TajhB10 @Jayronkearse8 @benboulware7 @ClemsonTigerNet @ClemsonFB @SonsOfClemson pic.twitter.com/ySpIuDc0ih
