Clemson baseball moved up a spot in the latest D1Baseball rankings, while maintaining their place in the top-15 with Baseball America.

Through two weeks, freshman right-hander Davis Sharpe has led the Tigers with 11 shutout innings and 19 strikeouts to just four walks, earning two wins. He has also tallied six hits, four RBIs and three extra-base hits.

Sharpe is one of his six Tigers with multiple home runs through seven games, including RBI-leader Sam Hall (2 HR; 8 RBIs). Clemson's 15 home runs lead the ACC.

Reliever Carson Spiers has made three appearances and allowed one hit in 4 1/3 innings with six strikeouts to one walk.

The Tigers return to Doug Kingsmore on Tuesday at home versus East Tennessee State (6-1; 4 p.m. start) before another home matchup Friday with South Carolina (6 p.m.) and then travel to Greenville's Fluor Field (1 p.m.) and the Gamecocks' Founders Park (1 p.m.) to close out the series.
