Rankings: Clemson makes move up polls after sweeping UNC |

Two walk-offs and a blowout over previous-No. 3 UNC marked the weekend for Clemson (12-3) - meaning a move up in the polls this week.
Monte Lee’s Tigers vaulted three spots in the Baseball America poll to No. 18 and jumped back into the D1Baseball Top 25 at No. 24 this week. D1Baseball dropped the Tar Heels the most, plummeting them 12 spots to No. 15. Through four weeks of action, Clemson paces the ACC in RPI at No. 11. The Tigers pitching staff lowered their team ERA to 3.83 this week, moving up five spots in the ACC (8th). Sophomore left-hander Mat Clark improved to 3-0 with a 2.40 ERA on Saturday after going six innings and allowing two runs on four hits. Freshman righty Davis Sharpe leads the starting staff with a 2.18 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 20 2/3 innings. Clemson ranks fourth in the conference in fielding percentage (.976). The Tigers return to action on Wednesday versus No. 19 Coastal Carolina at 6 p.m. and then also hosts Notre Dame (5-8) this weekend, which won its opening ACC series at Wake Forest.
