I think we should just come up with a list of the top 100 excuses they use, and then rather than quote the whole thing, just say, #3, or #22, etc. It would save time, and hit a nerve with them at the same time.

I second the concept of providing them a list of excuses! They are not smart enough to put one together without having to think about it! That is unfortunately something they are not keen on doing.

#'s 63, 56, 13 and 7 need to be the ones they use the most, and in tandem, as in:
"We would've beaten the Tigers if not for 56 to 7 or 63 - 17"
Certainly excuse #4 will ALWAYS hold a special place in the hearts of Clemson family fourever!
