Clemson, SC - The Clemson University Athletic Department, in conjunction with the Division of University Procurement Services, announced Thursday afternoon the assignment of its radio/TV rights, as stipulated in the agreement, from Collegiate Sports Partners Limited to Clemson Tiger Sports Properties, a joint venture between ISP Sports and Learfield Communications, effective immediately. The contract runs through June 30, 2005 and guarantees the Clemson University Athletic Department a minimum of $ 1,025,000 annually, with the opportunity to generate $ 1,500,000 per year.

"We are extremely excited about the new relationship with ISP Sports and Learfield Communications," said Clemson Athletic Director Bobby Robinson. "Learfield and ISP Sports are recognized as national leaders in the collegiate radio, television and multi-media marketing business and we are pleased they are now members of the Clemson Family. In addition, we appreciate everything that Kirk Wood and Collegiate Sports Partners did for Clemson last year."

ISP Sports/Learfield Communications have similar joint ventures with the University of Alabama, the University of Missouri, Syracuse University and Villanova University. ISP Sports is the exclusive multi-media right's holder for athletic programs at the University of Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Marshall University, Ohio University, University of Southern Mississippi, University of Central Florida, Tulane University, Vanderbilt University, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest University, while Learfield is the exclusive right's holder for athletic programs at the University of Wisconsin, University of Iowa, University of North Carolina, University of Maryland, University of Memphis, Indiana University, Oregon State University, Oklahoma State University, University of Oklahoma and Washington State University.

"ISP Sports is delighted to be part of Clemson Athletics," said Ben Sutton, president of ISP Sports. "There is great tradition at Clemson, outstanding leadership in Athletic Director Bobby Robinson and his current staff, and a tremendous future which we now look forward to sharing and contributing to through the formation of Clemson Tiger Sports Properties."

"We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with a program of such stature as Clemson", said Greg Brown, senior vice-president of Learfield. "The size and loyalty of the fan base and the athletic heritage is among the best in the country. We are pleased to be part of the Clemson Family."

"We would like to thank Clemson for its commitment to allow us to work together to resolve the various issues related to the agreement and for Clemson's decision to approve this request,"said Kirk Wood of Collegiate Sports Partners. "We value our relationship with Clemson and have appreciated the opportunity to work with members of the Clemson Family."

Clemson, in conjunction with ISP Sports and Learfield Communications, also announced they would maintain the services of Don Williams and Mandy Morah to continue their sales efforts with the network.

"Because of Don's tremendous efforts over the last seven months in regard to obtaining and maintaining relationships with sponsors, radio stations and television stations, we felt strongly that Don should continue to run the network which will allow a smooth transition between the previous right's holder and ISP Sports/Learfield Communications," said Robinson.
