DeCarr considers the program strong enough that he can contend for a national championship every year, but feels reassured that he will have every chance to step in as a freshman and claim a spot in the starting rotation. "That's what Clemson wants me to do and I think I'm more than capable of doing it," he said. DeCarr will do a post-graduate season next year at prep powerhouse Salisbury School, in Salisbury, Conn. Has a low 90's fastball and a good curve. He has shown flashes of great potential but has been hampered by injuries the last two seasons.

said he had a great visit to Clemson when he chose Clemson last week.
"The coaching staff brought me around campus," said DeCarr of his lone visit to the school in S.C. "I hung around there for eight hours. They made a really good offer, definitely one I couldn't pass up. The place is unbelievable. The coaching staff in unbelievable, and it's a great program."
