Running Back 5-11, 190 Raleigh, NC View Full Profile
recorded his third straight 200-yard rushing game in Friday's 56-24 loss to Leesville Road. Marshall ran 23 times for 247 yards and scored three touchdowns against a Leesville Road defense that was allowing 88 rushing yards per game. In his two previous games, Marshall, who is the top-ranked running back in the country, rushed for 218 yards and four touchdowns in a 48-14 win against Heritage and 293 yards and five touchdowns in a 43-27 win against Sanderson. He has gained 758 yards and scored 12 touchdowns in his past three games. Rushed for 1,600 yards and 20 touchdowns as a junior. 1,166 yards and 12 touchdowns as a sophomore. Marshall is following in the footsteps of his father, Warren, who starred collegiately at James Madison University and was a sixth-round NFL draft pick by the Denver Broncos in 1987. Grew up a Georgia Bulldog fan and he has said that distance from home will not a factor in his decision-making process. Has made unofficial visits to Duke, NC State, North Carolina, and Clemson. He has committed to play in the Under-Armour All-America Game in Florida. #1 rated player and 5 star recruit based on the 2012 AthleteVault NC/SC Rankings. Marshall will take all five official visits and wait until after his senior season to announce his college decision. He has good vision, patience and instincts. Recently ran a 10.30 100M and 21.30 200M. One of the fastest players in the Carolinas. He is a great all-around player that can also catch passes out of the backfield.
