Clemson 5-star wide receiver commit Tee Higgins is a two-sport star from Oak Ridge high school, but he will focus on football even though he was previously named a Class AAA Mr. Basketball finalist.
Higgins averaged 15.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.7 assists last season and had basketball offers from several schools like Auburn, Louisville, and Tennessee. "As of right now, he's not playing [high school bball]," said Oak Ridge coach Aaron Green via the Knoxville News Sentinel. "That's Tee's decision and his family's decision. We all want what's best for Tee. We'll support him either way he goes. He has got a bright, bright future," Green said. "We want him to make the best decision for him. That’s what he has done at this point." Higgins on the gridiron had 57 catches for 861 yards and 15 receiving touchdowns this season.
