Clemson 2016 defensive end commit Xavier Kelly received his U.S. Army All-American Bowl jersey on Tuesday at a lunchtime ceremony at his high school.
TigerNet.com spoke with Kelly after the presentation and he was excited about getting to participate in the All-Star game in January.
"It's a blessing and an honor playing in this game. I grew up watching this on TV as a little kid, and it's crazy that I now get to wear that jersey," Kelly said.
The 16th annual U.S. Army All-American Bowl will be played on January 9, in San Antonio, Texas and will be televised at 12 PM on NBC.

He will take his official visit to Clemson in January.
The highly-regarded football prospect will play his senior season in basketball to defend his school's Class 6A state title and then enroll at Clemson in the fall.
As a junior, Kelly had 42 tackles, 10 for loss, and eight sacks.
