Four-star and No. 1 state of Michigan prospect Braiden McGregor released his top schools after a number of visits recently.
Clemson was one of those stops in mid-March and they also made the list, as one of a few schools that have offered McGregor as both a tight end and a defensive end. “Right now, they think tight end, but Coach (Todd) Bates has been trying to get me to come play d-line for him," McGregor told TigerNet in February. "It kind of depends on what I want to play,” he said. “Tight end is a great opportunity for me, and I think it's a position where I can show off my athleticism. I also think defensive end is, too. That is a big thing for me with them because they are one of just five schools that have offered me at both positions. That is a big thing for me.” McGregor also listed Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Alabama, LSU, Penn State, Oregon, Miami and Florida. “Thank you to all of the schools that have recruited me,” McGregor said. “By no means was this easy to narrow my list. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to build relationships with everyone that has recruited me. With that being said, here are my top ten schools.” McGregor tallied 56 solo stops with eight sacks, 13 tackles for loss, two interceptions, two blocked punts, two interceptions and six total touchdowns last season.
