And in the ground game, he has the elusiveness that pegs him among the better dual-threat prospects in the 2019 class. As a junior, Phommachanh completed 70.5 percent of his throws with 26 touchdowns to one interception.

Depth chart fit: Off the radar a bit in the Northeast, his senior season wasn’t met with much fanfare from recruiting analysts - seeing a gradual drop from being the top-rated dual-threat to No. 5 for both Rivals and 247Sports going into enrollment. Phommachanh hits campus with something to prove from his earlier evaluations to entering a QB room that’s consistently fielded All-American contenders for much of the Dabo Swinney era at Clemson.
