Former Clemson RB commit picks Maryland

4-star 2017 running back and former Clemson commit Cordarrian Richardson from Memphis, TN committed to Maryland during a Bleacher Report on National Signing Day.

"I'm Cordarrian Richardson, 4-star running back and I'm committing in space," Richardson said during the interesting video in which he chose Maryland.

Clemson and Richardson parted ways publicly on Dec. 23.

Richardson is a consensus 4-star running back recruit by all the major recruiting services. He is a powerful bruising type running back with great speed.

Richardson was named state title Class 2A Offensive MVP this past season as he ran for 342 yards on 41 carries to win the 2A state title 40-35 over Marion County and it was Trezevant high school's first ever state title.

In 2016, he had 2,239 yards with 18 rushing touchdowns and five more scores on punt returns.
