Central (Ala.) wide receiver E.J. Williams released his top-12 schools on Friday and Clemson made the cut there.
Williams had a "great visit, as always" to Clemson to Junior Day last week, he told Tigernet, adding that Clemson, Auburn and Alabama are recruiting him the hardest right now. "The nine-man is the go-to-guy at receiver on the field, and coach (Jeff) Scott told me that's what he would develop me into," Williams said. His top list is filled out by his two major in-state schools, as well as Georgia, Texas A&M, Oregon, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Florida, Florida State, LSU and Arkansas. Williams will spend the next two weekends on visits to Auburn then Alabama. Clemson has two on the roster from his high school already in Justyn Ross and incoming signee Ray Thornton.
