Four-star 2021 Powder Springs, Georgia receiver Dacari Collins announced a Clemson offer on Thursday morning.
Collins competed at Dabo Swinney camp last week and holds over 20 FBS offers already. “Truly BLESSED and HONORED to receive an offer from the defending champs, CLEMSON University,” Collins posted on Twitter. Collins camp breakdown from last week: “As we all know, the Clemson coaches like to wait until they’ve spent time with a prospect before dispensing an offer, and wide receivers coach Jeff Scott spent plenty of time working with Collins this morning. Collins has the size (listed at 6-3 ½ but looks a hair taller) you like. He has big, thick, legs that give a hint at power. However, he jumps with ease and runs with a fluid motion, especially for a man his size. Will a Clemson offer be forthcoming? Have to wait and see but we liked what we saw.” - David Hood Collins averaged 21.7 yards per catch with four touchdowns last season.
