WATCH: Etienne scores impressive 75-yard TD on 1st play

by - Assoc. Editor -

One play equals a touchdown for Clemson in the 2018 ACC Championship game.

Clemson sophomore running back Travis Etienne got the party started with a 75-yard rushing touchdown on the first play from scrimmage.

It was his 20th rushing score of the season and the longest rush of the year for the Tigers.

The 75-yard run is the longest offensive play from scrimmage in ACC title game history, surpassing Georgia Tech quarterback Joshua Nesbitt’s 70-yard touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas versus Clemson in the 2009 game at Tampa.

Etienne's 20 rushing touchdowns are the fourth-most in ACC history.
