Vic Beasley wins Deacon Jones Award

Atlanta Falcons defensive end Vic Beasley was named to the Deacon Jones Award on Saturday night, giving annually to the NFL leader in quarterback sacks.

In 2016, Beasley has 41 tackles, led the NFL with 15.5 sacks and six forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and three pass deflections. For his career, he has 65 tackles, 19.5 sacks, eight forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and five pass deflections.

He was drafted by Falcons in the first round (#8th overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft.

Beasley and the rest of the Falcons will play the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI, on FOX at 6:30 PM on Sunday night.
