Trevor Lawrence: "Blessed to be at a place like this"

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson freshman quarterback Trevor Lawrence spoke to the media Monday previewing the upcoming road game against Florida State on Saturday.

Lawrence shared that he is very happy that he made the decision to attend Clemson.

"Just blessed to be at a place like this," he said. "The coaches we have and the people here, it's a special place. I think about that more than playing for the No. 2 team in the country or whatever."

Lawrence recorded career highs in completions (26), attempts (39) and passing yards (308) with one touchdown against North Carolina State.

Senior defensive lineman Christian Wilkins shared that he has had a memorable season so far.

"I've honestly had the best time I've had in my four years," he said.
