Swinney updates injury status of Austin Bryant

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney talked to reporters for his Tuesday press conference as he previewed the Georgia Tech game and shared an injury update on sophomore defensive end Austin Bryant.

"He is day to day," Swinney said. "Hopeful for Louisville. Truly day to day. He can see the finish line. It is just a matter of him feeling like he can cut it loose like he needs to. I can't say the exact day but we are hopeful for next week."

Bryant had 35 tackles, two tackles for loss, four quarterback pressures, a fumble recovery, and 1.5 sacks in 13 games last season. In last season's Capital One Orange Bowl, Bryant came off the bench for the injured Shaq Lawson and had eight tackles including half a sack on 63 snaps.
