Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney told reporters during Monday's press conference that freshman defensive lineman Logan Cash has withdrawn from the university and left the football team.
"Logan Cash was going to be out this year and had surgery but he has decided to withdraw from school and move on," Swinney said. Cash had been dealing with a back issue since enrolling at Clemson in January, and the plan was for him to redshirt. On the high school level, he recorded an impressive 101 stops, 40.5 for loss, and a state-best 23.5 sacks in 2017.
