Ferrell wins ACC Defensive Player of the Year

The ACC announced on Wednesday that Clemson junior defensive end Clelin Ferrell was named ACC defensive player of the year.

Ferrell leads the ACC and ranks eighth nationally with 10.5 quarterback sacks, and his 15.5 tackles for loss are the fourth-most among conference players.

His teammate Christian Wilkins finished second in the voting (20) behind Ferrell's 28 votes.
