Clemson (9-0, 6-0) moves up two spots to the #1 ranking (#3 last week) in the
latest AP Poll with 1489 points and 31 first-place votes on Sunday after a hard-fought 23-13 victory over Florida State on Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers clinched the ACC Atlantic Division title with the win over the Seminoles and have regular season games left with Syracuse, Wake Forest and South Carolina. Clemson has won 18 of its last 19 games for the first time since the 1938-40 seasons and is 9-0 for just the third time (1948, 1981) in school history.
