C.J. Spiller on Clemson's chances of beating Alabama

by - Assoc. Editor -

Former standout Clemson running back C.J. Spiller joined Stadium to discuss a potential matchup between No. 2 Clemson and No. 1 Alabama in the College Football Playoff.

Spiller said that Clemson has a legit shot against the all-mighty Crimson Tide in a hypothetical rematch.

"I mean it's just one game," he said. "Anything can happen on a neutral site if that course happens, both teams playing together, I think it will be another great matchup and I think the Tigers will be hoisting that trophy."

Spiller knows that Clemson has a high potential against any team if they play to their abilities.

"I really think they can stack up and hang with them because it's one game and that's why you play the game," he said. "Outside people might say nobody can stack up with Alabama, just cause what they are doing to people but on any given Saturday or whatever that championship game is, any team can be beaten. All it takes is a couple key plays here and there and you got a chance to win it."
