Clemson started a late first-half scoring onslaught with a 14-yard connection between Trevor Lawrence and Tee Higgins in the second quarter.

Lawrence fired the ball to a spot only Higgins could come down with the grab -- and Higgins went up over two Deacs defenders to bring in the score.
