Only two states in the USA rooting for Clemson to win CFB title

The College Football Playoff is coming soon as Clemson will take on Notre Dame in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl while Oklahoma will face Alabama in the Orange Bowl.

All four schools are big-time national prominent programs but who will the average fan be pulling for?

According to a recent Twitter study involving geotagging data with fan hashtags, the Sooners are the fan favorite with 26 states pulling for them. It appears that everyone loves to pull for the underdog as they are currently 14-point dogs to Alabama.

Alabama has the second most states pulling for them (18) followed by Notre Dame (4) and Clemson bringing up the rear.

The Tigers have only two states rooting for them with South Carolina and little ole' Rhode Island.
