Miami AD takes jab at Clemson's 'goofy' facilities |
Clemson is the elite football program in the nation and that goes hand-in-hand with their fantastic facilities for their players and coaching staff.
Of course, not everyone can have arguably the top amenities in the nation so jealousy can be an issue with other programs that are trying to recruit and compete against the Tigers. Miami athletic director Blake James took a shot at Clemson in a recent interview with The Athletic talking about their own facilities. "Now, again, we don't have some of the goofy stuff that some others do with slides or putt-putt golf, things like that they need in those towns in order to keep guys entertained," he said. This is a pretty salty comment about Clemson from a Miami athletic director that witnessed his team produce a mediocre 7-6 record last season with their players running around flashing a rather embarrassing turnover chain in an empty home stadium. Haters gonna hate as Miami has a long ways to go before they resurrect their program to past glory days. Miami’s AD Blake James discussed their new facility with ?@TheAthleticCFB? and mentioned why it’s not as elaborate as some others. Any idea what school he’s referring to here? It sounds vaguely familiar. pic.twitter.com/W4pYif4gtp
