Clemson receiver Justyn Ross was injured after a short catch in the final minutes in the second quarter against Wake Forest. It appeared that he landed on top of the football when he was tackled.

Ross laid on the ground for a few minutes before taking a seat on the sideline with trainer Danny Poole.

He finished with three receptions for 18 yards.

Receiver teammate Amari Rodgers was also hurt in the first half of action. He was seen going into the injury tent after a punt return.

Update 1: Ross was pointing to rib area to the trainer.

Update 2: Ross is headed to the locker room.

Update 3: Ross and Rodgers not expected to return. All other injury info from Dabo Swinney's postgame, per SID.

Update 4: Ross returns to the sidelines in street clothes after halftime evaluation. The early word is he is OK.

Update 5: Jeff Scott said that initial results are that WR Justyn Ross and WR Amari Rodgers will be fine but they are continuing to check them out. More injury information coming shortly from Dabo Swinney.

Update 6: Swinney said the following about team injuries during his postgame press conference: "We have a few guys get banged up but nothing serious. They could play next week if we had to but we have an open week."

Swinney said that Rodgers fell on his shoulder and they were checking on a bruised rib with Ross.
