Grad transfer commits to Clemson |
Former Alabama wing and graduate transfer Tevin Mack (6-6 225) committed to Clemson on Monday.
He has one college season left and is eligible immediately. Clemson is his third stop after initially playing at Texas and then leaving Alabama after a recent coaching change. The Columbia native averaged nine points and 3.3 rebounds last year and posted 14.8 points and 4.8 rebounds in his last season with Texas. Mack is a fourth transfer commitment this offseason for Brad Brownell's Tigers, joining fellow graduate transfer and guard Curran Scott (Tulsa and Charlotte; 6-4 208) as well as former Texas Tech wing Khavon Moore (6-7 215; freshman seeking medical hardship for last season) and former Fordham guard Nick Honor (5-10 190; rising sophomore). Mack helps fill a possible void left this season after UNC-Asheville transfer forward Jonathan Baehre suffered a torn ACL in offseason workouts ahead of Italy's World University Games in July.
