Former Clemson WR lands on Bills practice squad

Former Clemson wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud is back where he started the season but still faces a fight back to an NFL field.

McCloud has signed with the Buffalo Bills' practice squad after being waived by the Carolina Panthers.

McCloud was drafted in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL draft -- and played in 10 games last season -- but was cut after the 2019 training camp. The Carolina Panthers claimed him off of waivers shortly after and McCloud had issues with fumbles on punt returns, turning the ball over three times over six games.

The Tampa native averaged 12.1 yards per punt return with a touchdown in his junior season with Clemson, earning honorable mention All-ACC honors.
