The Carolina Panthers claimed former Clemson wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud off of waivers on Sunday.
McCloud comes to Carolina from Buffalo, where he played in 10 games with one start as a rookie last year, posting five receptions for 36 yards, one kickoff return for 18 yards and two punt returns for 20 yards. The Bills selected McCloud in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. The former 5-star prospect out of the Tampa area tallied over 1,300 yards from scrimmage with four touchdowns at Clemson and an additional 725 yards with a touchdown as a returner.
