Florida State standout junior defensive end Brian Burns spoke with the media following his team's 59-10 home loss to the hands of No. 2 Clemson.
"Embarrassing 59 to 10," he said. "There is nothing else to me explain." Burns thinks that some of his teammates quit and the refs didn't give them any breaks during the contest. "Most definitely (team quit)," he said. "The effort level wasn't there and the energy wasn't there. Ever since that penalty on that block field goal, everyone went down after that and we weren't getting calls. It was a lot of calls against us." Burns had one tackle against Clemson.
