I'll give Taggart the pass for now. I think he's a different character than Jimbo and, ultimately, it will reflect in the character of his recruits. He's on record wanting to emulate Dabo and to accomplish that, it'll take more than 'stars' and physical talent. That team on the field today was severely lacking between the ears.

If he can recruit stars without the thug mentality, imo, he could have an entirely different team. Thugs don't listen to their coaches,,,they think they know it all and play exactly like that. And they don't care if their thug play hurts the team or not.

Like i hate miami but theyre games are interesting, they'll straight. Cold #### the other team and then celebrate like its the 70s. Players get their "talking points" from their coaches after the game. So if Taggart said this and the player is repeating it, then Taggart shouldn't be coaching. If the player said it off the top of his head, Taggart has lost control of his team.

Was thinking same thing in a way, I was thinking that Jimbo Fisher's lack of discipline ruined that program, and I believe that it will take more time to rebuild it from the bottom up than FSU will be willing give Taggart. 3 to 5 years I'ma thinking!!!

It is hard to get discipline out of low character players who never have been expected to show character. The FSU team is a reflection of Jimbo's character, and that is not good.

All the calls against FSU were justified. Targeting, personal fouls and disqualifications. Nothing but a team full of thugs and cheap shot artists. Need to suspend half of the team for it. Find the few that didn't get flagged, or give up, and start over from scratch. GO TIGERS!!!

BS even pass to swinney was a TD, when a pass is shared by receiver & defender,it goes to the receiver, defender gaining it after they were out of bounds,I woujd like to know what calls he thought were missed

Sorry the beatdown hurt so bad...but didn't get calls??? My a$$!
First off the roughing the passer call on Lawrence's(I think it was him) hit was complete BS and hit him above the waist and then just fell, which of course was toward the ground which is past his knees. It's pretty common physics and happens in every football game. But the ref BEHIND the QB with no view of it threw a flag and that was when it wasn't a blowout.
Also, on the long pass before they made a FG that was reviewed...put it this way, it either WASN'T a catch, but if it WAS...then it was also a fumble because the ball was knocked loose before his elbow touched by a clear few inches. So that was BS too.
Then I recall an absolutely ridiculous 'holding' call against us that was complete phantom hold.
Then our guys get dragged to the ground trying to get stopped nearly every down and barely ever get a holding call against opposing teams.
The bottom line is refs feel sorry for other teams and it hurts us often when momentum shifts in the rare games that happens.
But every single penalty they got, they fouled on. I didn't see any questionable ones that were replayed. They just played DIRTY and SLOPPY. Don't go losing with poor class too guys...geez.
At least that's the one thing you could do well at...losing graciously and acknowledging a complete dismantling on every level.

Let me make it simple for the reason FSU got humiliated: the were beaten at both lines of scrimmage and their vaunted talent positions were no shows. No excuses like no calls. They were just whipped soundly, period. Tagger doesn't have his hands around the program yet. So much for the many "experts" that claimed the Noles were really starting to play and could possibly upset our Tigers. The only upset was likely their gut.
